A dance card was commonly used at social dances as a means for young women to record their memories of the event. The dance cards in this collection are from social events that occurred on campus between 1919 and 1967, with several dates unknown. Images of life in Rural Caburgua, Chile in the 1960s. An accompanying essay, written by an essay written by Dr John Rector, describes life in the region. There is also a Spanish translation of the essay by Irene Z Rector.

40th Anniversary Dance Performance Posters

The annual Spring Dance Concert produced by the Theatre and Dance Department began in 1976. This collection was created in recognition of the 40th anniversary of the Dance Department and consists of the concert posters (or the program cover when the poster was not available) from 1976 to 2016.

This collection contains portraits of university presidents from 1865 to present. During this time, the university has had multiple names: Christian College, Oregon State Normal School, Oregon College of Education, Western Oregon State College and is currently known as Western Oregon University.
