Interior of The East House, 1922

View of the interior of the East House. Six women sit on a couch with one woman standing behind while two women are sitting on chairs. Two collums are also in view.
"Picture Given by Esther Mason. It was taken in either the winter or spring term 1922 in the living room of 'East House'. This is the house located at 141 North monmouth Avenue.
The names of those shown in the picture are listed on the back. However, there is at least one error which I can identify. The first lady to the left sitting on the devenport is not Bessie Brigham. Bessie is the second lady of the four sitting on the davenport. There may be other errors of which i am unaware, but this is clear since I am aquainted with bessie Brigham.
The lady on the far right sitting on the davenport is Miss Bertha Brainerd, then the registrar of the Oregon Normal School.
It is noted that there are only three names listed as 'on davenport.' Perhaps the one to the far left was unknown to the person who wrote these names, thus accounting for the apparent error in indentifying Bessie Brigham."
